New York was AMAZING. I love it. And I miss it!

My life has been kinda hectic the last few months. Not only have I been living in one of the most (or maybe THE most) fantastic cities in the world, but I have also been studying a lot. AND working my ass of to get into a photography school in Oslo. And guess what? I did it! I'll be moving to Oslo very soon, I'm talking about a couple of months or maybe even sooner. Depends on when I'll get an apartment! Anyway, I'm very exited to finally start on my education. Hopefully I'll get good on this, so that I can work and live of my passion.

Oh, and btw - I'm going to use the summer to practice (with my new lovely Nikon D300 bought at B&H New York - amazing store!), so hopefully I'll manage to post some more new stuff here soon!

I'm no good in updating my dA these days... Partly because I have been working on a fishing boat in the North Sea/the Barents Sea this fall. I've been saving up money for my studies in New York City! I'm moving there on February the 3rd, so it's not long till I'll start on my studies in journalism and photography. I'm very exited!

But the whole deal costs a lot of money, so even though I earned a lot on the boat, I'm broke now. But still... I want a new camera so fucking badly! My good old D50 has been a good friend for many years, but then again... it has 6 mega pixels, so has my mobile phone's camera. And if I get in to the school I want to attend next fall, I'll need at least 8. And there is so many other things with the D50 that just don't work for me anymore. I hope I'll find a solution to my problem soon.

I'll try to shoot more and submit more. I have been very bad on the photography the last months! I shot a new self-portrait yesterday, and even though it's not stunning or anything, it felt good just to use the camera again

I really HATE how slow and difficult it is to submit pictures at dA! Well. I finally managed to submit some pictures I shoot for a school project a couple of months ago. It was supposed to be a fashion project, but I don't know if I suceeded making the shoots enough fashion... Feel free to comment!

School is out (ended early in may actually) and the vacation has been a very exciting period in my life. I have been out travelling across Europe for 5 weeks. It was really amazing!

When I got home several nice suprises was waiting for me. One of my pictures taken at last years Storås Festival made the front page picture of this years festial news paper. Kind of fun (especially since I did'nt reconize it at first ^^) I also got a request from a writer to shoot two front page pictures for her new poetry books.
One of the pictures is a new and improved verson of Closure, wich can be viewed in my gallery.

Wow, long time no seen. Well, since the last time I wrote, I've moved from Trondheim to Stavanger. I'm attending school here, trying to learn more about photo. It's fun. Mostly. So I've gotten a bit lazy and havent really taken any good photos for a while. But I'm doing well in class, so I suppose I don't do everything wrong after all.

Yes. I'll try to get better on submitting my photos from now on. Promise

Today I finally got an e-mail from the Storås festival in Norway. I'm going to work during the festival as a photographer. So happy they wanted me for that job, because now I'll get the ticket for free

Having my exams in Norwegian this week. New-norwegian tomorrow. After that, only the art exam remains. And maybe another one, if they pick me. But let's hope they don't!

Haven't had that much time to take pictures, but hopefully I'll get some time soon
